Lorenzo Degli Esposti is lecturing on formal and conceptual operations within artistic processes and architectural/urban projects and on the architectural resistance in growing and shrinking contexts. He set up the students’ design task on the analysis of 5 case studies (SPRAWLING: Kortrijk, North of Lille; SHRINKING: Corktown, Detroit; TABULARAZING: Queenstown, Singapore; GATING: Westlake, Cape Town; SLUMMING: Dharavi, Mumbai) and on the proposal of 5 urban configurations, resistant against the pinpointed expropriating, standardizing and deurbanizing phenomena.
